Join Greenbelt Land Trust for a festive day of crafting and volunteerism by helping to protect the Oak Savanna habitat at Bald Hill Farm! 

Hands-on restoration work, cutting and pulling Douglas fir trees that can shade out and weaken the oaks. Luckily, while fir trees aren’t great for our oak savannas, they are perfect for winter crafting. 

Once you’ve pulled your fill of fir, join us for hot chocolate and a free wreath-making class taught by local instructor Margot Schwarz. All are welcome — no experience needed!
